On 21 April, Håkan Jankesgård, associate professor at the University of Lund, held a highly appreciated webinar about “black swans” and wild uncertainty in the corporate perspective. This webinar was the first for TMA Sweden to also actively invite members of TMA UK, of which several attended.
New Webinar Attendance Record: Proposed New Swedish Rules on Business Reorganization
On 17 March, more than 60 persons joined TMA Sweden’s webinar presenting the brand new proposed Swedish rules on business organization (Sw. lag om företagsrekonstruktion).
The webinar was held by Karl Björlin, Cirio Advokatbyrå and Nils Åberg, Advokatfirman Carler.

TMA NextGen has launched in Sweden!
On 20 February, TMA Sweden launched its TMA NextGen series at Cirio in Stockholm. An enthusiastic crowd of younger professionals (up to 35) from banks, law firms and auditing firms met, mingled and listened to an interesting seminar by Michael Diné (EY) regarding the predicted development of the retail sector for the years to come. Nils Åberg, (Carler), president of TMA Sweden, made some introductory remarks. Karl Björlin (Cirio) hosted this pleasant event. With the success of this event, TMA Sweden is aiming for another NextGen event in the early autumn.
